The Executive Director of Oxfam International Winnie Byanyima on Saturday held an Eucharistic celebration and Thanksgiving mass in Ruti, Mbarara district.
Winnie Byanyima was celebrating mass for her family and thanking God for rewarding life, good friends and supporting family.
Mass was led by Msgr John K Barugahare, assisted by Fr. Benedict Birungi, Curator Nyamitanga Parish Fr. Asansio Agaba and Uganda Martyrs Parish Priest Fr. Didas Kasapuri.
The thanksgiving also coincides with Winnie Byanyima’s Birthday.
Winnie Byanyima says her greatest achievement in life is to be trusted by people of Mbarara to represent them in Parliament three times.
Anselm Kizza-Besigye took the 2nd Reading from the book of EPHESIANS 1:3-14.
Dr Kizza Besigye was also present.
