Wasswa Bbosa replaces Ssenyondo as new Kitara FC coach
Kitara FC has appointed Wasswa Bbosa as their new head coach, following the departure of Brian Ssenyondo.
Ssenyondo was relieved of his coaching duties at Kitara on Sunday after a disappointing start to the new season.
Bbosa, who has been a free agent since the end of last season, has finally reached an agreement with Kitara after a series of negotiations, according to Swift Sports.
George William Lutalo will serve as Bbosa’s assistant, alongside Ayub Balyejusa, while Richard Kansole takes on the role of goalkeeping coach.
The trio—Bbosa, Lutalo, and Balyejusa—previously worked together at Gaddafi FC two seasons ago, before Lutalo was recruited by Kitara to assist Sam Ssimbwa.
Until recently, Lutalo was the head coach of FUFA Big League side Buhimba Saints United, where he had been working since the start of the season.
Bbosa is now entrusted with the task of reviving Kitara’s fortunes and ultimately competing for the league title, a primary goal for the club this season.
His immediate challenge will be an away game against Alex Isabirye’s URA FC on Wednesday, October 30th, at Nakivubo Stadium.
