Wakiso Police have arrested a stepfather in connection with the alleged defilement of his two stepdaughters, aged 14 and 12. The matter was reported to Wakiso Police Station on December 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the abuse occurred between June and October 2025 at Nsekwa-Musisi village in Wakiso District.

Police say the suspect, Ssentamu Edirisa, allegedly took advantage of the girls while their mother was away at the market and shared a single room with them. The 14-year-old victim is reportedly pregnant.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SP Racheal Kawala condemned the acts, saying:
“We strongly condemn such acts of sexual violence more so by parents and guardians that these girls victims look to.”

A case of aggravated defilement has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
