The highly anticipated Vumbula Uganda Festival is returning to Jinja from May 31 to June 3, 2024, at Nile Nest Resort after a successful event last year that drew thousands in attendance. This annual extravaganza promises to showcase the finest of Ugandan art, music, culture, and cuisine in a vibrant celebration.
Kicking off with a bang on Friday, May 31, the festival will feature an impressive lineup of artists, cultural performances, tourism activities, art and craft exhibitions, live band performances, and more.
Jean Coprise Akullo, the Chief Communications Officer of Vumbula Uganda, stated that the event guarantees an unforgettable celebration of everything Ugandan under the theme ‘Unearthing the pearl’. Compared to previous editions, revelers should anticipate splendid magic and fun-packed activities showcasing the best of Uganda’s tourism, art, culture, and ceaseless music from two different stages commanded by 200 acts.
“One of the aspects we take pride in at Vumbula is our commitment to not disappoint our revelers. We carefully select our partners and service providers, including venues. Nile Nest resort boasts a beautiful camping space, which will be transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity with tourism exhibitions highlighting the country’s natural wonders and unique attractions,” Akullo remarked.
In this specific edition, Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited announced its platinum sponsorship of the event through FlexiPay, the official digital payment platform, offering exclusive discounts on various items, including event tickets.
Organized by Vumbula Events Uganda, the festival boasts over 200 acts set to headline the upcoming event, promising attendees an unforgettable experience against the picturesque backdrop of Jinja.
