General Salim Saleh, a high-ranking military officer in the Uganda People’s Defence Force, the armed forces of Uganda played a major role in the 1980-85 bush war.
After the war, the fierce commander served in different capacities before he retired.
The General is now the national coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation. In this video filed by NTV, Gen Saleh shares among other things, his experience especially in the final bush war days that culminated in victory. He also talks about his service in the army, government and retirement.
