UPDF Receives Senior Kenya Defense College Officers

The Kenya National Defence College faculty and participants have visited the Ministry of Defence Headquarters in Mbuya.

The delegation which was headed by Maj Gen Muhammed Badi was received by Maj Gen Sam Kavuma the deputy Commander Land Forces on behalf of Gen David Muhoozi the Chief of Defence Forces.

Gen Kavuma in his remarks thanked the college for choosing Uganda as a case study country in the region.

He emphasized that Uganda is a unique country which will help them achieve their desired objectives for the tour.

The head of Delegation Maj Gen Muhammed Badi on behalf of the college thanked the UPDF for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to them and also accepting their request on short notice.

Gen Muhammed Badi said they are comfortable that they will meet their objectives since the host is an alumnus and knows the standards of the college.

The participants were taken through the general security and the geopolitical situation in Uganda.

On behalf of the participants, Gen Muhammed Badi handed over a memento to Gen Sam Kavuma in appreciation for the warm welcome.

Gen Sam Kavuma wished the students a nice stay in Uganda during their tour.
