Uganda’s security organs have foiled an attempt by terrorists to bomb Kalerwe Market, in Kampala Division  this morning. According to a source in security, one female suspect identified as Naiga Sumaiya was neutralised as she was approaching Kalerwe Growers Market with what was believed to be a bomb. A big blast has been heard in the area and all roads from and leading to Kalerwe have been cordoned off by the Police and other sister  Security Agencies.

It is alleged Sumayiya is linked to the Allied Democratic Forces and believed to be among the click that  had planned to bomb the Martyrs Shrine in Munyonyo but were neutralised as they approached the shrine on the Uganda Martyrs Day.

More Details will follow through shortly as the army leadership has promised to address the journalists about the incident later in the day…..
