Uganda marked a historic milestone in their cricketing journey by securing their first-ever victory at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, triumphing over Papua New Guinea by three wickets.
The match, held at the Guyana National Stadium, showcased the team’s resilience and the remarkable performance of veteran spinner Frank Nsubuga.
In his first appearance at a T20 World Cup at the age of 43, Frank Nsubuga delivered an extraordinary bowling performance that etched his name in the history books. Nsubuga’s figures of 2/4 in four overs played a crucial role in restricting Papua New Guinea to a mere 77 runs.
