Uganda Red Cross has signed a memorandum of understanding with DFCU group to strengthen humanitarian action and community resilience across Uganda .

The event took place at the Uganda Red Cross headquarters in Rubaga Kampala attended and witnessed by Mabel Nandaula the Executive Director, Dfcu group, Robert Kwesiga the Secretary General of Uganda Red Cross and Irene Nakasiita the Head of Public Relations, Resource Mobilization and Partnerships.

On behalf of Dfcu group, Mabel Nandaula reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to support community development and social impact as signed on the memorandum of understanding. “At Dfcu Bank our purpose is transforming Lives and business in Uganda, our partnership with Red Cross reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that create sustainable impact and strengthen communities across the country” said Mabel Nandaula.

” Strategic Partnerships such as this one with Dfcu group are vital in enabling us to reach more vulnerable communities with Life saving support and by working together we can Mobilize resources, strengthen preparedness and ensure that communities are better equipped to respond to emergency and humanitarian challenges,” said Robert Kwesiga the Secretary General of Uganda Red Cross

Uganda Red Cross has recently signed memorandum of understanding with different organizations and stakeholders which are essential for maximizing impact in crisis response, increase efficiency, reducing duplication and fostering sustainability.

By pooling resources, expertise and local knowledge these collaborations ensure, foster more relevancy and delivery which strengthen Local capabilities to handle future disasters. The Partnership between Uganda Red Cross and Dfcu group reflects a shared commitment by both institutions to contribute to national development while improving Lives of vulnerable communities across Uganda
