In the latest rankings by the World Internal Security & Police Index (WISPI), Uganda Police scooped the highest ranking in the ‘humane index.’

The humane index measured the Police’s threats against the reaction to the threat. These included things such as provocation by the General Public, for example how a traffic officer would react to an uncooperative driver.

One of the things that stood out was a video recording of a man stoning a number of policemen in Uganda. The policemen were able to desist from releasing fire. In another incident, a traffic violator got in a scuffle with a policeman, yet the police still acted with restraint.

On the highest-ranking, Uganda was able to beat countries such as Bhutan, Switzerland, Norway, and Rwanda.

We congratulate Uganda Police for representing us on a global scale.
