Uganda Opens Business Center in Dubai to Boost UAE Investment

Uganda has established a business center in Dubai to support Ugandans engaging in business with investors from the United Arab Emirates. The new business center is located at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai.

Uganda’s Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, inaugurated the center .

Earlier, the Prime Minister addressed members of the business community and prospective investors from Dubai, assuring them of Uganda’s commitment to safeguarding their interests should they choose to invest in the country.

Investors from the UAE expressed their interest in visiting Uganda to explore the investment opportunities prepared by the Ugandan government.

According to the Ministry of Finance, UAE investors have already invested approximately 3 billion US dollars in Uganda.

During her visit, Prime Minister Nabbanja also met with Dr. Raja Al Gurg, the wealthiest woman in the UAE and the Chair of the Board of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
