The 3rd Session of the Uganda – Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation meeting commenced, at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala.
The meeting aims to deepen Uganda-Russia relations and brings together Government officials, business leaders, private sector and experts to discuss key areas of collaboration. The meeting will discuss boosting Uganda’s exports to Russia. Expected outcomes include enhanced bilateral trade, diversified exports, and potential joint projects.
In the Sector of Defence and Security, Uganda is represented by Lt. Gen. James Mugira who for the last three years has been the Chairman of the Uganda- Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Military and Technical Cooperation.
