The Uganda Cranes are gearing up for their next challenge in the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers as they prepare to face Somalia at Stade De Municipal in Berkane, Morocco.

Both teams are seeking their first victory in Group G, having experienced defeats in their opening fixtures. Uganda, after their loss to Guinea 2-1 defeat finds themselves alongside Somalia at the bottom of the current group standings.

Despite the setback, the Uganda Cranes is determined to bounce back and improve their performance against Somalia. The game starts at 4:00pm.

Acknowledging the upcoming difficulty, Coach Paul Put emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, recognizing the match as almost a home game for Somalia. He highlighted the need for strategic improvements while expressing caution about making extensive changes to the team.

“We have been analyzing our team, and we are going to improve certain things,” stated Coach Paul Put as the Uganda Cranes aim for a more positive outcome in their encounter with Somalia.
