The Uganda Advertising Association has urged it’s members, media and communication practioners to embrace financial mastery for personal and business success. The financial mastery class rotated around accounting systems, internal controls, cashflow management, credit and structuring, personal and business finance and tax compliance.
The master class took place at Nob View Hotel in Ntinda Kampala and brought certified public accountants and financial experts who shared knowledge and expertise on the real world financial strategies that help many organizations and individuals to move from survival to stability and from stability to growth and how strategic tax planning, complex compliance and risk management can be used to optimize financial performance and ensure regulatory adherence.
“Credit is not the problem to an individual or business but the the important thing to ask is about the cost of credit and how you are using it, a strong business needs to a strong system and financial discipline” said Joshua Mazune the Managing Director of Mari Credit.
Financial stability is the ability to take full control of your money transforming from a passive spender to active strategic manager of your wealth and business. Financial mastery involves creating a vision focused on growth, sustainable financial strategy optimizing cash flow, managing risk and investing for long term security ultimately unlocking financial freedom.

The financial experts emphasized the use of accounting systems and cashflow management. Accounting systems are the backbone of financial mastery transforming raw transactionsal data into actionable insights ensuring regulatory compliance and enabling strategic decision making while cash flow management is the process of tracking, analyzing and optimizing the net amount of cashflows and outflows within a business to ensure efficient liquidity, meet short term obligations such as rent, payroll and also support growth.
