UCE: Old Kampala SS Headteacher, Two Others Nabbed In Exam Malpractice

Police in Kampala are holding the head teacher of Old Kampala Secondary School, Williams Suuna, over examination malpractice.

He was arrested along with two other individuals, Luyima Gilbert, a teacher at Bank Hill College, Zana, and Zuria Kunia Kareem, the Headteacher of Nakaseke Seed School.

They group were found in possession of history and Geography papers that appeared to be exam papers in Suuna’s office. 

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy police spokesman says the suspects were captured moments before  students sat for the history exams. 

UNEB’s spokesperson, Jennifer Kalule, acknowledged the situation but said she needed more time to gather information.

Police have arrested several people, including head teachers, teachers, and exam supervisors, for alleged exam malpractice.
