Uganda is set to host international R&B sensation and actor Tyrese Gibson, who has confirmed his visit to the country for the upcoming coffee festival.

The acclaimed musician and Hollywood star took to his Instagram page to announce his excitement about experiencing Uganda’s coffee culture, engaging with local communities, and celebrating the beauty of the country.

“Rumor has it. I’m on my way to Uganda. If you’re looking for confirmation, it’s true!” Tyrese posted

During his visit, Tyrese will be a key guest at the Uganda Coffee Festival, an event aimed at promoting the country’s globally recognized coffee industry.

His participation is expected to shine a spotlight on Ugandan coffee farmers, particularly women working in rural coffee communities.

Beyond the festival, the R&B legend will also take part in the Coffee Marathon, scheduled for May 24, 2025. The marathon is designed to support and empower rural women in coffee-growing regions who play a crucial role in coffee production. Tyrese expressed his support for these hardworking women, acknowledging their contribution to the industry that allows millions to enjoy a good cup of coffee worldwide.

The singer, best known for hits like Sweet Lady and How You Gonna Act Like That, is also famous for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise. His visit to Uganda is expected to draw attention to the country’s tourism, cultural richness, and coffee excellence.

Fans and coffee enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more details on his visit, as he promised more updates in the coming weeks.

Uganda, a country renowned for its high-quality coffee, is set to receive a major boost from Tyrese’s endorsement on the global stage.
