The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has officially announced the team of match officials who will oversee the highly anticipated Stanbic Uganda Cup final clash between Vipers Sports Club and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club this Saturday at Kadiba.
Leading the officiating team is Shamira Nabadda, who will make history once again as she takes charge of her second Uganda Cup final.
Nabadda etched her name in Ugandan football history in 2023 when she became the first female referee to officiate a Uganda Cup final. That historic match featured Vipers SC and Police FC and was held at the Akii-Bua Memorial Stadium in Lira.
Her return to the big stage marks another significant milestone in her officiating career and a continued testament to her competence and growing legacy in African football.
Supporting Nabadda on the pitch will be Ronald Katenya, a seasoned FIFA Assistant Referee, who has been assigned as the first assistant referee. Katenya brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the match, having officiated numerous high-profile fixtures at both domestic and international levels.
Joining him is Brianson Musisi, also a FIFA Assistant Referee, representing the Buganda Region. Musisi will serve as the second assistant referee, rounding out a formidable officiating lineup on the flanks.
Completing the team is Kasalirwe Lucky Razake, a respected FIFA Referee from the Kampala Region, who has been designated as the fourth official. Razake’s role will be crucial in managing technical areas, substitutions, and any potential on-field incidents requiring additional oversight.
