The Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah, has arrived in China for a working visit.
Prime Minister Nabbanja is representing the Government of Uganda at the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, taking place in the city of Changsha, China.
Upon her arrival, the Premier was received by Mr. Cang Feng, Deputy Director General of the Guangdong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, along with Uganda’s Consul General, Ambassador Judith Nsababera.
Prime Minister Nabbanja is accompanied by the Minister for Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, the Minister of Trade, Hon. Francis Mwebesa, and other government dignitaries.
The expo has drawn the participation of more than 28,000 attendees from 48 African countries, nine international organizations, and 27 provincial-level regions across China.
Under the theme “China and Africa: Together Towards Modernization,” the expo is scheduled to take place from 12th to 15th June 2025.
