President Museveni to Address the Nation as COVID-19 cases increase to 89

President Yoweri Museveni is set to address the nation again tonight as numbers of coronavirus patients rise to 89 after a Kenyan truck driver tested positive for the virus on Sunday.
The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday night that the driver was the only positive case out of the 2,729 tested that day.
“Efforts to track him are underway,” the ministry said, adding that the driver was tested at Malaba.
The 201 samples from community all tested negative for COVID-19, according to the ministry.
The community case confirmed on Saturday from Rakai District has been evacuated to Masaka Regional Referral Hospital and his family members are under quarantine.
The ministry also said both Kenyan and Burundian truck drivers who were also confirmed on Saturday have also returned to their respective countries.
