President Yoweri Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the UPDF has made changes in both Command and administration of the UPDF.
According to a message issued by the Spokesperson of the UPDF Brig Felix Kulayigye, Maj Gen Don Williams Nabasa has been appointed 3 Inf Div Comd while Brig Gen James Kinalwa appointed Chief of Passonnel and Administration.
Brig Gen Eugene Ssenkumba Ssebugwawo appointed head of Eational Emergency coordination center in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).
In other changes, Brig Gen William Bainomugisha has appointed Comdt Military Police replacing Maj Gen Nabaasa.
Additionally, Brig Gen Micheal Kabango appointed 4Inf Div comd.
“The UPDF family congratulates the General officers and senior officers appointed to different positions of command and administration,” Brig Kulayigye noted in the message announcing the changes.
