President Museveni Discusses Regional Security With DR Congo’s Tshisekedi
Newly elected President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Felix Tshisekedi last evening held bilateral talks with President Museveni at State House Entebbe.
In a brief statement, Mr Museveni said the two leaders discussed various matters of mutual interest.
“Last evening, I hosted His Excellency Felix Tshisekedi at State House Entebbe. We discussed trade, regional security and other areas of bilateral interest to Uganda and DR Congo,” said Mr Museveni on his official social media channels.
Mr Tshisekedi recently replaced Joseph Kabila after winning the 2018 election. The two DR Congo leaders have entered an agreement for a coalition government.
