President Museveni Appoints New Commander for Mountain Division and Operation Shuuja

In a recent development, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is also the Commander-in-Chief has appointed Major General Richard Otto as the new Commander of the Mountain Division and Operation Shuuja.

Major General Otto takes over from Major General Dick Olum, who has been redeployed to South Sudan as part of the South Sudan Stabilisation Mechanism.

Prior to his new appointment, Major General Otto was representing Uganda in the same mechanism in South Sudan.
