The senior presidential press secretary Mr Don Wanyama has dismissed as fake a purported Cabinet Reshuffle which circulated on social media Monday morning.

The fake reshuffle cabinet list showing Engineer John Baptist Walusimbi replacing Edward Ssekandi as Vice President, Beatrice Anywar and Gen. Kahinda Otafiire as first and second Deputy Prime Ministers respectively among other alleged changes also alleged that FDC’s Abdu Katuntu had been appointed minister.

It is not clear what the authors of the list intended but Mr Wanyama has described the list as a concoction and asked the public to disregard it.

“Colleagues, disregard the list doing the rounds on social media purportedly announcing a cabinet reshuffle. It’s a concoction,” Don Wanyana said.

“Also, just to let you know that a fraudster has created a Facebook page in the names of the President’s Principal Private Secretary, Molly Kamukama. Do not fall for it,” he added.
