The operations, intelligence-led and prompted by rising public complaints about crime, targeted various hotspots known for social disorder, noise pollution, gambling, and related criminal activities such as burglary and theft.
At Kira Division, police swooped on Kito B Cell, Kito A Zone, and Kireku Main Zone, arresting 34 suspects. In Entebbe Division, operations in Kawafu and Abaita Ababiri areas led to 46 arrests. Meanwhile, Kajjansi Town Council saw 17 suspects taken into custody following raids in KKB Zone, Ssanyi Village, Dewey Village, and Kawali Village.
