Commissioner of Police (CP) Fred Enanga has bounced back as police spokesperson, replacing Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Emilian Kayima who has been in charge for less than a year.

Kayima has been appointed in charge of information and publication under the Chief Political Commissar (CPC) directorate headed by Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Asan Kasingye.

Enanga will be deputized by Assistant Commissioner of Police Polly Namaye who once served in the same position.

In other changes, Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Ochola has moved SP Patrick Onyango who has been the deputy police spokesperson to serve as Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, a role he has held before. Onyango replaces Mr Luke Oweyesigire who will deputize Onyango.
