The Central Police Station (CPS) in Kampala has detained Nsubuga Denis on charges of cyberstalking and distributing pornographic material.
The arrest follows allegations that Nsubuga circulated an old nude video, falsely claiming it depicted Doreen Nalunga, popularly known as Milk Bae.
The incident came to light when Nalunga reported the case to CPS Kampala, prompting an immediate investigation. Police traced and arrested Nsubuga, who is now in custody. Statements have been collected from the complainant and relevant witnesses, who confirmed that the video in question does not feature Nalunga but an unidentified individual.
KMP Spokesman Patrick Onyango addressed the public, emphasizing the importance of verifying information before sharing it on social media.
“We want to appeal to members of the public to be careful about what they post on social media and ensure they cross-check any information before posting. Otherwise, the law will catch up with you,” he stated.
The police reiterated that the video circulating is not of Milk Bae and urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified content to avoid legal consequences.
