Platinum Heathens Triumph in Tight Rugby Final

Fans Revel in Music and Entertainment

Throughout his performance, the crowd was on its feet, dancing and singing along.

They eagerly followed his request to wave whatever they had in their hands.

Only in sports can you find joy and sadness sharing the same space – joy for the winning team and sadness for the losers.

Platinum Heathens supporters were over the moon after their team clinched the Nile Special Rugby Championship, leaving Stanbic Black Pirates fans devastated by the loss at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.

Platinum Heathens won the game by two points over their rivals. The tightly contested match saw Heathens earning 15 points while the Pirates managed only 13 points. Both winners and losers, however, found something to smile about by the end of the evening – spectacular performances from Fik Fameica and the Warafiki girl group.

Before these performances, Etania had hyped up the fans with some Amapiano vibes, setting her session apart from previous DJs at the event, including Ken the DJ, DJ Essmatic, Duke Play, Bexxx DJ, and DJ Kenzil.

Etania multitasked as a DJ, emcee, and dancer, but it was her dance moves that captivated the crowd the most.

At 9pm, Fenon Event’s trio, Warafiki, took to the stage. Despite their short catalogue, they have mastered their stage performance. Watching their dance routines during their songs “Bwekati” and “Tetubafanana,” one would think they have been in the industry for years, yet this is only their second year on the music scene.

Fik Fameica came on stage 10 minutes after the trio, and the reception he received demonstrated how passionate rugby fans are about music, just as they are about sports.

To keep the crowd energized, Fik Fameica performed a series of high-tempo songs, including “Omu Bwati,” “Majje,” “Buligita,” “Bwepaba,” “Stylo Nta,” and “Mafia,” among others.

Throughout his performance, the crowd remained on its feet, dancing and singing along. They even enthusiastically followed his request to wave whatever they had in their hands during his final song.
The girl group, Warafiki, did their thing as well.

Since the venue offers much more than just a rugby field, revelers and fans switched to drinking and jamming to music from resident DJs, while others lined up for Michael’s signature skewers.
