The National Unity Platform (NUP) has issued a statement condemning an attack on their headquarters in Kavule, Makerere, allegedly led by singer Alien Skin and his gang.

According to the party, the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at 3:15 am.

The statement details that Alien Skin’s group violated the party premises, threatened the security guard on duty, and defaced their walls with provocative graffiti.

NUP expressed regret over the actions, likening Alien Skin’s behavior to that of individuals who have previously been used to destabilize the people’s struggle.

It is regrettable that these brothers have learnt nothing from those who the detractors have used including Sipapa, Sobi, Zebra, Kitatta, among others.

The party further noted that such incidents often resurface as the country approaches elections, with certain groups allegedly being used to commit crimes aimed at derailing the opposition’s agenda.

NUP has urged Alien Skin and his associates to reflect on their actions, warning that history has shown how such behavior often backfires.
