The NRM Secretary-General Richard Todwong today held talks with the Ambassador of The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Uganda, Her Excellency Etsegenet Bezabih Yimenu.
The cordial meeting took place at NRM headquarters at Plot 10, Kyadondo Road.
The bilateral discussions between SG Todwong and H.E Bezabih Yimenu highlighted the commitment of both parties to continue collaborating on various fronts, including politics, trade, and cultural exchange between Uganda and Ethiopia.
”We cherish our treasured historical ties and mutual relations between the people of Ethiopia and Uganda,” Mr Todwong said.
Todwong added that Ethiopia and Uganda have a long history of advocating for the self-determined of the people of Africa from the Western colonial masters and have continued to strive for the continent’s prosperity.
Todwong was flanked by External Affairs Director Maj. (Rtd) Awich Pollar, Director of Communication, Hon. Emmanuel Dombo and Youth and Institutions Director Maj. (Rtd) Okwir Rabwoni.
