President Yoweri Museveni has told the youth leaders from the 18 Counties of Buganda that there is no bigger ally of the Kingdom of Buganda than the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

“Kingdoms were abolished unfairly and it took the same sacrifice of people to get them back,” he said.

The President was speaking during a meeting he had with Buganda youth leaders at the home of Bukoto South Member of Parliament Hon. Muyanja Mbabali, at Kaswa, Lwengo District in Greater Masaka area.

The President was in Bukoto South Constituency at the invitation of the area MP, Hon. Muyanja Mbabali, where Mr. Museveni launched a Women’s bank known as Rural Women Micro-Finance Ltd and also addressed a public rally at Kaswa Primary School grounds in Kinoni Town Council.

President Museveni informed the delegation of Buganda Youth Council that “I have had good deliberations with Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and I am sure we are in the right direction because we discussed issues about the prosperity of our people.”

The President said that he has no worries about the politics of Uganda but the continuity of the country and the African continent.
