Nim Paints Uganda has donated food and household items worth UGX 10 million to the different Muslim communities of Bweyogere in Kira Sub County who are less privileged in this Ramadhan Period.
The donation is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives led by the Managing Director John Paul Gabeya. Now in its fifth year, Nim Paints continues to collaborate with different communities aimed at uplifting them and investing in the future. “It’s a privilege for us to to contribute food items to the Muslim community in Ramadhan, this is not just a donation but a contribution to community and customers, connect with them and their identity”, said John Paul Gabeya.
Nim Paints decided to take on the corporate social responsibility initiatives this year because it’s essential for building trust, strengthening the brand reputation and ensuring long term sustainability by aligning business goals with societal and environmental values. It also allows the business to make a positive impact in the community beyond their financial performance by addressing social issues, supporting community development and implanting sustainable practices and long term business resilience
“Supporting the community and less privileged has been one of the ways of appreciating and celebrating our customers while sharing the joy and excitement that comes with associating with Nim Brand”, added John Paul Gabeya
