New Uganda Airlines Airbus A330-800neo Set for Shipping
Uganda Airline’s brand new Airbus A330neo [New Engine Option] are ready to be flown in to the country, The Tower Post reports.
One of the airbuses whose picture was posted by Airbus appears finished and already painted with the beautiful Black Yellow and Red.
“Behold! Uganda airlines brand new #A330neo rolling out of our paint shop. A proud salute to Uganda’s national flag!” Airbus posted on Friday.
The Airbus A330neo is a wide-body jet airliner developed by Airbus from the Airbus A330 (now A330ceo – “Current Engine Option”).
It’s a new and improved version with modern engines comparable to those developed for the Boeing 787 was called for by operators of the original A330 series.
The Tower Post understands that Uganda ordered for two Airbuses to compliment the few planes that the company has currently.
The Airbuses will be a big addition to the Uganda Airlines’ fleet that currently consists of four bombardiers.
