President Yoweri Museveni has this morning visited Banda palace for a meeting with the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi where the two resolved that all pending issues to do with kingdom land, property and monetary arrears be resolved soon.
Don Wanyama, the president’s senior press secretary confirmed in a tweet that the Kabaka Ronald Mutebi received the president at his palace in Banda.
“In a meeting, they resolved that all pending issues to do with kingdom land, property and monetary arrears be resolved soon,” Wanyama said in a tweet.
President Museveni also posted on his social media platforms:
I paid a courtesy call on my brother, His Highness Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, at his palace in Banda, Wakiso District. I thank him for the invitation.
We held a cordial meeting where we agreed that all pending issues involving the kingdom’s property, land and financial arrears be resolved soonest. I thank the Kabaka for the hospitality extended to my entourage and myself.
