The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Coordinator for Mpigi District, Khalifa Lwanga Sulaiman, led a series of significant engagements yesterday with various NRM leaders and security personnel in the area, setting the stage for the ongoing NRM Register Update exercise.
Expressing appreciation for the warm reception, the RDC emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts not only for the ongoing register update but also for future party events.
In particular, the RDC praised Namyalo for providing Mpigi with a strong and attentive representative and pledged to communicate issues affecting the youth, known as “Bazzukulu Ba Museveni,” to Hajjat Namyalo for effective resolution and empowerment initiatives to tackle poverty in the region.
During the engagements, Mr. Khalifa Lwanga Sulaiman reiterated the significance of maintaining accurate and up-to-date NRM registers, emphasizing the principles of inclusivity and transparency throughout the update process.
He also assured to elevate issues impacting the people of Mpigi, especially the youth, to the Special Presidential Advisor for appropriate action.
The involvement of security personnel further affirmed the commitment to ensuring peace and order during these critical activities.
These proactive measures highlight a joint effort by NRM leadership and local authorities to strengthen the integrity of the party’s membership database in Mpigi.
