Muhammad Nsereko, an Independent member of the Ugandan parliament, who has represented the Kampala Central Division constituency since 2011 has said that he will support Dr Kizza Besigye in the 2021 presidential election.

According to reports making rounds on social media, Nsereko says that Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine maybe a Muganda like himself but ‘has no substance’.

This website could not independently verify the statement attributed to Nsereko at the time of publishing this story.

Bobi Wine recently said he is ‘seriously considering’ challenging president Museveni in the 2021 polls and some people especially from Buganda region believe they have one of their own as a strong contender.

Other observers have however dismissed Bobi Wine as lacking a national character and ultimately popularity outside Buganda.

Bobi Wine is currently an MP representing Kyadondo East Constituency, a position he has been advised to keep instead of rushing for the presidency.
