Missing 29-Year-Old Housewife Found in Kasangati After Month-Long Search
Police have located Natukunda Sharon, a 29-year-old housewife who went missing on December 16, 2024, from her matrimonial home in Kigowa Village, Ntinda Parish, Nakawa Division, Kampala.
Natukunda was found renting in Kabaga-Kayanga Village, Kitezi Parish, Kasangati Division, Wakiso District.
According to police, her disappearance, reported by her parents at Ntinda Police Station, sparked investigations that culminated in her discovery. Natukunda was found by police officers on January 13, 2025, around 11:50 a.m. following a tip-off that traced her to the office of the local council chairman in Kiteezi.
Natukunda later led officers to a rented residence approximately 200 meters from the chairman’s office. She informed police that it was her personal decision to walk away because she suffered domestic violence allegedly inflicted by her husband.
The victim has since been taken to a hospital for medical evaluation and care as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding her case.
