In the breathtaking Land of Milk and Honey, Ankole Region, a new breed of beauty queens has emerged, captivating hearts with their purpose-driven charm. On June 21, 2025, the majestic Crane Resort hotel in Ishaka-Bushenyi played host to the crowning moment of Miss Tourism Ankole 2025, an event that showcased the region’s rich cultural heritage and stunning beauty.

Anna Ahebwomugisha from Sheema District was crowned Miss Tourism Ankole 2025, a testament to her exceptional beauty, intelligence, and passion for promoting Ankole’s cultural identity. Asiimwe Mary Vanessa from Mbarara District and Akandekaho Sharon from Lyantonde District were named First and Second Runners-Up, respectively, completing the triumphant trio that will represent Ankole in the upcoming Miss Tourism Uganda 2025 national pageant.

Under the theme “I Am My Culture,” the newly crowned queens are poised to showcase the richness and diversity of Ankole’s heritage on a national stage. With their beauty, talent, and dedication, they aim to promote tourism and cultural exchange, putting Ankole on the map as a must-visit destination. As they prepare to take on the national stage, the queens are determined to make a lasting impression and bring home the coveted title of Miss Tourism Uganda 2025.

As the queens embark on this new journey, they embody the spirit of Ankole’s cultural pride and ambition.
