The Police in Kampala are investigating circumstances that led a man to commit suicide by hoping off a stored building in Nateete, Lubaga Division, Kampala.

The deceased Sseguya Trevor Mathew, is said to have sneaked his way out of the building through a window on the third flow where Nateete Business Centre is located at 1pm on Tuesday.

According to eye witnesses who observed the deceased before he committed suicide, Sseguya walked into the building confidently, as if he had a business agenda. He reportedly was calm and portrayed a sound mind.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson says police received information from the manager at Natete business centre and rushed to the scene.

He says the lifeless body of the deceased is currently at City mortuary Mulago.
Owoyesigyire has cautioned members of the public to always seek help from the relevant authorities like local leaders and police instead of committing suicide.
