The UPDF has reportedly withdrawn army guards from former Security Minister Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde’s residences in Kololo and Rukungiri.
It is reported that an order to withdraw the UPDF guards was given last weekend when Gen. Tumukunde in the village.
It is not clear why the reported withdrawal of guards has happened since the UPDF provides security to senior officers, both serving and retired.
The Nile Wires could however not independently verify the development as no official communication has been made.
