Lord Mayor Lukwago Returns After Successful Surgery in India
This afternoon, amidst a backdrop of anticipation and relief, Erias Lukwago, the esteemed President for the Katonga faction of the Forum for Democratic Change and also the distinguished Lord Mayor for Kampala, graced Entebbe Airport with his return.
His arrival marked the culmination of a significant medical journey that took him to the bustling city of New Delhi, India.
There, he underwent a meticulously planned and meticulously executed specialized Anterior Cervical Disc and Fusion surgery.
This procedure, aimed at addressing the persistent discomfort caused by a herniated or bulging C6-7 Disc, had been a source of enduring agony for over two months, manifesting in excruciating pain and persistent tingling sensations in his back and upper left limb.
The successful completion of this surgery not only signifies a triumph over physical adversity but also underscores Lukwago’s unwavering resilience and determination. His return to his homeland after nearly two weeks of medical care abroad was met with a warm and heartfelt reception, with none other than the venerable FDC founding President, Dr. Kizza Besigye, extending a gracious welcome.
This poignant moment serves as a testament to the enduring bonds of camaraderie and solidarity within the political landscape of Kampala and beyond.
