Katakwi District is registering significant progress under the Local Economic Growth Support (LEGS) Project, funded by the Government of Uganda, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF).

During his evaluation visit to the district, Hon. At a meeting with district leaders, he challenged them to produce a comprehensive report within two weeks, clearly outlining departmental roles, project relevance, and impact, an assessment that will guide the next steps as the project approaches closure.
