The Resident District Commissioner of Kikuube District in Bunyoro sub region Amlan Tumusiime has moved out of his way to extend financial assistance to different groups of people and places of worship.
Among the supported groups is the Hoima media fraternity under their SACCO with one million shillings in preparation for the official launch of Hoima media SACCO slated for 29th match at Kolping Hotel Hoima.
Amlan further donated fifty bags of cement to Bineneza Catholic church. The contribution was received by the sub parish head of Laity Simon who spoke on behalf of the church and expressed heartfelt thanks to the RDC for his efforts towards improving the church’s infrastructure and the overall work of God.
‘We shall continue giving the little support we can, the Bible teaches us not get weary when doing good things, Amlan said.
We would love to do much more but currently that is what we can afford, Tumusiime added.

He later went to Kalyango church of Uganda where he donated one million shillings in support of mothers union day celebrations and later to Kisseta Church of Uganda where he donated one million shillings and pledged 20 bags of cement towards the Church’s development. Amlan also contributed one million shillings to Kibaire Mosque through his political assistant.
Tumusiime has made it clear, that he intends to contest for Bugahya county constituency in Hoima District who unseat the incumbent Pius Wakabi for has been in Parliament for two terms.
