Katuna Border Closure Used to Divert Attention From Mutiny in RDF, Generals Arrested
Fresh reports emerging from Uganda’s neighbor to the southwest – Rwanda suggest that the actual reason Rwandan Authorities have closed its borders to is to divert attention from the internal conflict among the Rwandan Defense Force (RDF).
Reliable sources indicate that the real reason the Rwandan President Paul Kagame’s regime closed its border with Uganda “ss because of the anticipated defection of a senior RDF officer, General Emmanuel Ruvusha, with a large force of soldiers to start a war against Kagame.”
“The closure of the Ugandan border was to distract from this massive internal rupture within the RDF and make people focus on Uganda-Rwanda relations. Apparently, General Ruvusha is now under arrest and being tortured as is customary in Rwanda,” a source that prefers not to be named due to the sensitivity of the matter told this website.
Meanwhile, apart from Gen Ruvusha, another senior officer, General Joseph Nzabamwita who is also the Secretary General of Rwanda’s National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) has also been arrested. NISS is the equivalent of Idi Amin’s State Research Bureau and is said to have a license to kill.
