President Yoweri Museveni has hosted American music star Kanye West and his Wife Kim Kardashian at State House Entebbe.
The senior presidential press secretary Don Wanyama said President Museveni and his guests’ discussion focused on supporting Uganda’s tourism and the arts.
Following the meeting, the president posted on his social media platforms, welcoming the entertainment stars.
“I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how they can support efforts to promote Uganda’s tourism and the general arts,” said Museveni.
He added: “I thank Kanye West for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. There is no country more beautiful than the Pearl of Africa.”
