The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni after his re-election saying he looks forward to expand the cooperation of the two countries.
In February 1, message extended to Yoweri Museveni, Netanyahu said, “Congratulations on your re-election as President of Uganda.”
He added that, “In recent years, the ties between our two countries have become stronger and I am confident that through the joint efforts of our governments Israeli-Ugandan cooperation will continue to expand.”
Mr Netanyahu joins other world leaders who conveyed their congratulatory messages to President Museveni who was elected for the 6 time into office on January 14 after Electoral Commission (EC) declared him winner with 58%.
