The international buyers week has been closed with reaffirming Uganda’s focus on market driven production, brand competitiveness and urging Ugandan international buyers to consider suppliers to deliver orders and also Ugandan exporters to strive in meeting international standards and packaging success.
The event was closed with trade commitments, partnerships and concrete business deals between Ugandan companies and Chinese and United States of America companies. The Market place and deal room sessions demonstrated Uganda’s readiness to scale globally with buyers engaging directly with exporters to negotiate terms to verify product quality and explore Long term partnerships.
International Buyers week saw exporters and international buyers sit together and turn interest into real orders and Partnerships that can last from buyer insights across the markets to sector showcases demonstrating the growing confidence in Uganda’s export capacity and strong partnership forming across the value chain.

International Buyers week is an event organized by the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID) with the objective to facilitate direct linkages and trade deals between Ugandan exporters and global buyers and provide a vibrant market for buyers, diaspora, consumers and the public to discover Uganda’s export offerings.
