Former Cranes Coach Micho Returns

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic as the head coach of the Uganda Cranes.

Micho returns for his second stint as Cranes head coach having taken charge of the team between 2013-2017.

His appointment was confirmed by FUFA via their official website.

“FUFA hereby announces that Mr. Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has been appointed Head coach of the Uganda Cranes on a three year renewable contract effective 1st August 2021.” FUFA said in a statement.

Micho who will address the media on Tuesday 3rd August 2021 has a contractual mandate to name his backroom staff.

He recently left the Zambian national team and will replace Jonathan Mckinstry who was axed in March 2021. Abdallah Mubiru was named interim Coach after Mckinstry’s departure.

Micho has in the past had stints at SC Villa, Saint George SA(twice), Orlando Pirates(twice), Al Hilal Omdurman, Young Africans FC, Rwanda national team, Zamalek, Uganda national team and the Zambian national team.
