Fire Guts Cafe Bravo Restaurant Near Uganda House, Investigations Underway

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Services have responded to a fire outbreak at Cafe Bravo Restaurant, located at Uganda House on Kampala Road which has took place today on April 5th, 2024.

According to the Deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan police Luke Owoyesigyire the fire is suspected to have started around 5 am and swiftly engulfed the restaurant premises.

Owoyesigyire said that the fire prevention and Rescue services arrived at the scene in time and contained fire .

“Our dedicated team from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Services promptly arrived at the scene and successfully contained the fire before it could spread further throughout the building. However, significant damage to the property ensued.” said Owoyesigyire

He added that investigations on fire outbreak are being carried out to gather evidence at the scene.

“Investigations into the cause of the fire outbreak are currently underway, with investigators actively gathering evidence at the scene to aid in determining the root cause,”Luke revealed.

No injuries or fatalities were reported in the fire incident.
