Fire At Naguru Parking Yard Destroys Motorcycles , Vehicles

Police at Jinja Road police are investigating a fire outbreak at Roka parking yard in Naguru II Parish, Naguru Go down, in Nakawa division, Kampala Wednesday afternoon.
According to the  Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango,  the fire that broke out around 3:30 pm destroyed  24 motorcycles, two tri-cycles, and vehicles registration number UBL 935G land cruiser and UAR 088T Alex.

The affected parking yard belongs to a lady only identified as Christine but was under the supervision of Swaib Magala.

According to Onyango, the police fire and rescue services managed to rescue some vehicles from getting burnt.

“The fire started from the grass-thatched small house where the Boda bodas park. Investigations are ongoing,” he said in a brief statement.
