The National Chairman of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party in the Najjanankumbi branch, Jack Sabiiti, has expressed concern regarding senior party members who consistently contribute to internal conflicts within the organization.

“I feel disheartened when senior colleagues within the party violate rules and disregard court orders, especially when they should set a positive example for others,” Sabiiti remarked.

This statement was made today during his address at the party’s National Council meeting held at the headquarters in Najjanankumbi.

Sabiiti emphasized that the FDC party was established on ideologies with a commitment to serving the people. He asserted that the party should not be treated as a personal possession.

“FDC does not belong to an individual or a specific group; every member has a stake in this party regardless of their positions,” Sabiiti stated.

He issued a stern warning to members involved in ongoing disputes within the party, urging them to cease immediately.

Despite the internal strife, Sabiiti remains optimistic about the party’s resilience, calling on all estranged members, including founding member Dr. Kizza Besigye, to reconcile and return.

“I urge our colleagues at Katonga to resolve their differences and come back to the party where they can voice their concerns. If they have valid arguments, we will work together to move forward. We all make mistakes; if they feel wronged, forgiveness is the path forward,” Sabiiti said.
